The city was declared a component city by Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on March 28, 2001 and was fortified by Republic Act no. 9025 otherwise known as ‘An Act Converting The Municipality of Alaminos, Province of Pangasinan into a Component City to be known as the City of Alaminos.’ With the drive to make the lives of Alaminians better, leaders act with proactive grace and ensure a brighter future for the benefit of their citizens.
